Duration: 2 hours

The tour will start in the main cathedral of Naples with the visit of the Chapel (a real church in the church) dedicated to Saint Gennaro, the main patron of the city: this is the place where three times per year Neapolitans come to attend to the liquefaction of the blood of the saints, a miracle Neapolitans really believe in.
The Tour will continue through the iconic streets of the city center, where the artisans shops are located. Well-known San Gregorio Armeno street to start with. Here visitors will see top artisans creating, exhibiting and selling the miniature figures that make up the Nativity scene – masterpieces realized through the skills passed down from generation to generation. Then the tour will continue with visiting the San Gregorio Armeno Church, where another saint performs the miracle of the liquefaction of the blood: Saint Patrizia.
The tour will end in the Saint Mary of the Poor Souls Complex where you will discover the story of the “poor souls” tradition, the worshipping of animus human remains that were (and still are) considered special messenger to communicate with the world of dead.
A walking tour through fait, superstition and art that you will never forget!
