Not everybody knows that just 15 km far from Naples there’s one of the biggest volcanic areas made of more than 40 craters date back to 4000 years ago which still emit steam jets with sulfur fumes.
The fumes have been used for medical purposes since the time of Romans and according to the myth it was believed to be the house of the God Vulcan.
Along the Flegrea Coast, the landscape became something of different from the entire city: castles, lakes, Roman baths, lovely villas in the middle of the water, small marinas, headlands overlooking the islands that will throw you into another dimension. Where the time seems to stand steel!
